“RIGHT NEXT DOOR” TOPICS
FOR MID-AMERICA JEWELERS AT 2012 JEC
Small, medium or large, jewelry stores or the towns/cities where they are located experience similar challenges in bringing buyers through the door, making a sale, and bringing them back again and again.
But, the solutions for making that happen, like the store and town, can be as different as sunrise and sunset!
In addition to four keynote presentations by nationally known leaders, a team of three presenters will be sharing ideas and experiences in practical, no-nonsense seminars.
Presenters at the 2012 JEC will focus on solutions for small or mid-sized retailers. Keynote presentations by industry leaders will offer options for:
- Ending the Vicious Cycle of Too Much Old Stock
- The Pros & Cons of Appraisals
- Insurance Success and Survival
- What You Are Willing To Be
And the three seminar packages will help you meet the needs of your customers, and potential customers, that you might also call neighbors. Knowing your “neighborhood” is the key to succeeding in business. The three seminars you will experience at the JEC are all about knowing, relating to, and caring for your customers. They will be offering options for reaching out to buyers; bringing them into your store, and caring for them once they give you an opportunity. More importantly, you will take home ideas and solutions that you and the decision makers on your staff can put into immediate action -- or use to develop your own plan further.
Midwest values certainly are consistent, but you and the decision makers in your store can only grow when you:
- know and understand the options available as you plan your marketing
- build your relationships with the guests who visit your store
- and provide the special service that will make them buyers and friends
The three presenters bring very different values, options and business experiences to their presentations — all valuable!
Shane O’Neill, a marketing director with Fruchtman Marketing, will discuss the options jewelers and their staffs have in targeting and reaching out to their neighbors. He will provide guidelines to determine the type, or types, of marketing that fit your budget, your market and your comfort zone.
Janice Mack Talcott, formerly the Director of Curriculum for Hearts on Fire and now an agent for The Edge Retail Academy and Professional Dynametrics and TrakStar Performance Systems, will discuss how to develop lasting relationships with the visitors to your store – whether it is their first visit or the most recent of many.
Louie Gravance, one of the founders of The Disney University’s Professional Development Program, is an in-demand “guide” for businesses as they engage their internal and external customers, and develop a reputation for quality service. He will prove to even the skeptics who always want to know “What’s in it for me?” that investing OF yourself is the same as investing IN yourself.
